Luther (Luke) L. McKamey, age 82 of Dunkirk, IN passed away after a long battle with cancer on January 22, 2019. Born in Caryville, TN, to the late Mitchel & Nadine (Anderson) McKamey. He graduated from Stoney Fork H.S., Caryville, TN.
He served in the U.S. Armed Forces in Germany. He retired from Kerr Glass, Dunkirk after 35 years of service. He was a life member of Dunkirk Moose Lodge 1352 and a member of Dunkirk American Legion Post 227.
Surviving are his wife; Janice (Lowe) McKamey; daughters Kimberly Bell and Valerie (Ed) Laux; sisters Donna Lykins and Doris Moore; grandchildren Shawnda Morris, Kyle (Kassi) Laux, Cassandra (Lance) Louth, Logan (David) Rosenbeck, and Brett Laux; and great-granddaughter Madilyn Laux
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Ronald McKamey; and sister Juanita Lowe.
Cremation will take place at Indiana Funeral Care, with no services.
